17-Year-Old Fears Death?

17-Year-Old Fears Death?

I am a 17-year-old teen and I have a fear of death. Most people my age probably aren’t thinking of this but I am. I believe in God and I am a Christian, but at times when I am out or at night I constantly/sometimes fear death. I get scared about my family dying. I know u can’t stop this fear, but I would appreciate some advice on how to reduce the fear. I want to live my life but I can’t seem to stop the fear. Thx If you were my son or daughter, I would take you to the Doctor for an assessment of your anxiety. Your fear seems to be a form of anxiety. Don’t let that thought scare you, or cause you to feel discouraged, because anxiety is treatable, and here’s what you need to do: Go see your family Doctor. Your Doctor will be able to advise you on whether or not you have an anxiety disorder or if some other medical problem is making you feel fearful. If the Doctor determines you do have anxiety, they will help you with treatment. Treatment can be counseling, medication, or other forms of treatment. There are many things that qualified medical professionals can do to help you. When fearful thoughts invade your life this much, it does rob you of living with peace and happiness. I’m sorry this is happening to you, but hold out hope as things can get better. Read what I found on the medical advice Internet site, webmd.com, about anxiety: “The first step in treating a mental disorder is recognizing that something is not right. The second step is getting help. These two steps may in fact be the hardest part of the entire healing process. Once you seek help from a qualified

A Doctors Near Death Experience, Proof Of Heaven

A Doctors Near Death Experience, Proof Of Heaven

When a man of science finds reason to believe there is a God and Heaven, it breaks barriers. Scientists want facts. Believers embrace mystery. When the two meet, it is often a battle of wills as to who is right and who is wrong, with the ultimate battle being the debate over whether or not God and Heaven exist. As a neurosurgeon, Dr. Eben Alexander fell in to a coma after contracting a very rare bacterial meningitis. He writes about his experience in, “Proof of Heaven: A Doctor’s Experience With the Afterlife.” While laying in a coma for seven days, the bacteria were eating away his brain until the “human part” of his brain, the neocortex, was inactivated. Although there is no scientific explanation for how the part of his brain he calls his “conscious, inner self” was “alive and well”, it was in this state that Dr. Alexander “journeyed to another, larger dimension of the universe: a dimension I’d never dreamed existed and which the old, pre-coma me would have been more than happy to explain was a simple impossibility.” The new world dimension Dr. Alexander described is one of mystery and revelation. The revelations contained a message of three parts, and a universal message for all. He tells of how in this state of consciousness he found himself in a place of clouds. “Big, puffy, pink-white ones that showed up sharply against the deep blue-black sky. Higher than the clouds-immeasurably higher-flocks of transparent, shimmering beings arced across the sky, leaving long, streamerlike lines behind them.” He wrote that, to call them “birds” or “angels” would not do justice to the beings themselves. They were more advanced. Higher forms. As the creatures soared along, they made a noise that was like a glorious chant. It was as if the

Grow Christian Company?

Grow Christian Company?

My husband and I have been working to grow our Christian Production Company where we do plays, cartoons and write scripts for movies. Everyone who sees our work thinks it’s really great but our problem is that we lack the finances to get more people to see what we do. How can we build this business to the point of making money? Every business needs an investment of capital (money) to grow to its full potential. The old saying, “It takes money to make money” holds true in the business arena. Entrepreneurs who are trying to launch their business from a grass roots level, from their garage or kitchen table (so to speak), don’t always realize that even multimillion dollar companies frequently have to go back to their investors for an infusion of money to grow. In the realm of big business raising capital is as slick as it sounds involving “Venture Capitalists”, “Private Equity”, “Seed Funding” and “Angel Investing”…big names for the ways big businesses find funding. Take a note from the big company playbooks and consider ways to raise the “seed” money to nurture your sapling of a business…draw up a professional, well-researched business plan and present it to potential investors. (Be mindful of The US Securities and Exchange Commission regulations.) Find the people who believe in your vision for your company and want to be a part of it! Embrace your Personal Power with Life Coaching~ • How is your business conducive to raising money from outsiders? • What proven track record, for business success, can you present to potential investors to assure them that you are a serious businessperson? • Before your drag other people on board, how willing are you to personally “go down with the ship” if you fail? • How much of your

Friend Stealing Candy?

Friend Stealing Candy?

Last time I went to the movies with a group of friends, one of them stole candy from the counter. I’m not close friends with the guy who stole but I still want to hang out with the rest of the group. I don’t want to be guilty by association. What should I do? You, and your parents, should feel proud that you are concerned about a member of your peer group stealing.  This puts you in the category, in my opinion, of “good” guy or girl.  Young as you are, you are recognizing a need to discern (decide) whether you want to be a part of this group. Sadly, while the people who care about you would love to shield you from these types of people, you will encounter them all through your life.  As they get older, they just go from stealing candy to stealing at work or even from friends.  You get the picture. So long as the other members of the group you hang out with don’t agree to the stealing, you’re OK to consider the kids who value honesty friends.  When you’re hanging out with this group, make sure you keep your distance from this particular person and don’t spend time alone as friends. If you’re more of a quiet, shy person and see something that shouldn’t be going on, such as stealing or bullying or lying, walk away. If you’re more assertive and feel strong enough to do so, speak up and tell your friend to stop!  Most of all, you need to tell your parents or teachers about it so that the adults in your life can help you and guide you. Also, and this is very important, if others in the group start to go along with the bad behavior, you have
